Hello, I’m sorry to hear you had a frustrating experience with the paper chains. We designed these as a mess-free, slot-together alternative to traditional 'lick and stick' chains so that no adhesive is required, and the chains are able to be reused. There is a knack to them, but they're intended to be easy to use once you get the hang of the tabs, so it's a shame to hear they didn't work out for you. We really appreciate the feedback and will certainly keep it in mind for future designs.
